In Business Customers (BC) and Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I), we serve corporate and institutional clients across the Nordics, from sole traders to the largest corporates and institutions. We are delivering on our Forward ’28 strategy while shaping the long-term direction of our business beyond 2030.
We are looking for a Senior / Chief Strategy Consultant to help define strategic direction, solve critical business questions and drive impact across BC and LC&I. You will work closely with leadership teams and stakeholders across the business, including Direct Banking, Advisory Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Asset Finance, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Transaction Banking, Markets, Investment Banking and Asset Management.
The role can be offered at Senior or Chief level depending on experience. Our team is based in Copenhagen and Stockholm, and we are open to candidates in both locations.
The Strategy & Insights team
You will join a skilled team of 10-12 strategy professionals with backgrounds from leading consulting firms and banking. We combine strategic thinking, a strong consulting toolbox and deep business understanding to tackle ambitious strategic topics.
You will have meaningful ownership from day one, work with senior stakeholders and engaged project sponsors, and receive practical sparring, coaching and development. We value curiosity, drive, high standards and a strong team culture.
What you will be doing
As a Senior/Chief Strategy Consultant, you will:

1. Shape strategic direction and executive insight
   • Develop and refine strategic priorities, narratives and growth themes for BC and LC&I
   • Track market, competitor, customer and regulatory trends, translating signals into clear implications
   • Produce crisp, decision-oriented materials for senior leadership
2. Lead high-impact strategic deep-dives
   • Work in small project teams to structure complex strategic problems, hypotheses, workplans and storylines
   • Drive analysis through data exploration, interviews and workshops
   • Convert insights into actionable recommendations and support implementation handover
3. Mobilise stakeholders and anchor execution
   • Align stakeholders across business, product and enabling functions
   • Facilitate leadership discussions to land decisions and build commitment
   • Help develop the Strategy & Insights toolbox, including templates, fact bases and ways of working
4. Actively leverage GenAI in how we work
   • Apply GenAI tools to improve analysis, synthesis, communication and delivery
   • Use GenAI responsibly, with focus on quality, confidentiality and value creation
   • Role model curiosity and continuous improvement in our ways of working

What we are looking for
We are looking for a positive and collaborative individual who combines strong strategic thinking with the ability to deliver results, operate effectively in an executive environment, and form clear points of view. You are curious, structured and proactive and are comfortable navigating complexity and challenge.
The ideal candidate typically possesses:

• 3–6+ years in management consulting or corporate / internal strategy roles; banking experience is highly valued but not a requirement
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, including concise writing, compelling storytelling and executive-ready presentations
• Ability to translate analysis into clear options, trade-offs, and recommendations
• Curiosity, learning agility and comfort navigating and challenging constructively
• High learning agility and experience applying GenAI to improve strategic work
