Senior Software Engineerwithin the Catalyst domain, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering platform. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in developing central capabilities that support a diverse range of areas, enabling other engineering teams to accelerate and be efficient.Your collaboration with other tech teams is crucial to ensuring the stability and performance of our applications, all while mentoring a culture of self-driven problem-solving.

The team called Client Infrastructure is on a mission to develop central capabilities that support other developers, accelerate app development, and ensure overall system stability and performance. We cultivate a culture of self-driven problem-solving to enhance the working experience for our teams.

As aSenior Software Engineer in the Catalyst domain, you'll be at the heart of collaboration, working closely with product teams, infrastructure teams, and various departments. This role serves as a bridge between product development and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration. You will be the driving force behind the development of central capabilities, contributing to ongoing technical projects, cloud platform work, and application development.

Daily Activities:

• Design and implement scalable backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle daily technical challenges.
• Ensure system stability through ongoing monitoring and optimization.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings, providing updates and addressing blockers.
• Contribute to ongoing projects with coding tasks and feature optimization.

Requirements: Technical skills:

• Senior Software Engineer with SRE/DevOps experience in Terraform, Kubernetes (k8s), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and performant systems.
• In-depth understanding of the full request/response lifecycle, including DNS, load balancing, and standard web framework concepts like middlewares, with a focus on HTTP.
• Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Python/Django, Go, Kotlin/Spring-Boot, Java/Spring-Boot.

Bonus Skills:

• Auth2/OIDC/SAML
• Edge Computing/CDN (Fastly or similar)
