DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team!

Minna connects global banks and fintech with subscription businesses to give consumers self-serve subscription management in-app. Minna is a technology partner to top-tier financial institutions, fintech and subscription businesses, providing subscription management functionality for 50+ million banking and fintech customers across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

Minna builds the infrastructure that links Subscription Merchants (such as Netflix, Spotify, Amazon) to leading Financial Institutions (Lloyds Bank, ING Belgium, Swedbank to name a few). This connection enables consumers to effortlessly manage their subscriptions by performing actions like canceling, pausing, or changing their plans.

Responsibilities

• 
  Solving challenges across the full stack at Minna, from Scala applications to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, networking and GCP resources
  
• 
  Reviewing and automating tasks related to security and vulnerability management in a cloud native environment
  
• 
  Supporting the engineers in our product teams at Minna who use our platform to develop and deploy their products to millions of users
  
• 
  Deploy our applications to Kubernetes in order to make our releases faster & safer.
  
• 
  Work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform and Google Cloud Platform
  
• 
  Contribute to defining the team's technical vision and the necessary steps to achieve it.
  
• 
  Ensure all solutions we create are compliant with any certifications, rules and regulations as well as not negatively impact our target service levels.
  

Requirements

• 
  Experience and interest in building, improving and maintaining a modern cloud native infrastructure
  
• 
  You have worked as developer before, preferably within the Java/Scala ecosystem and hands-on cloud operations
  
• 
  Experience in JVM-based application operations in the cloud and good knowledge within either Google Cloud or AWS
  
• 
  Experienced in building and operating distributed cloud environments
  
• 
  Thrives as a part of an inclusive agile team that highly values pragmatic problem solving and continuous improvements
  
• 
  Enjoys learning and sharing knowledge with peers about new technologies and solutions in a growing and fast paced environment
  
• 
  Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
