Role and responsibilities
The Product Safety and Compliance team ensures product regulatory compliance and process excellence to gain market access for our products and uphold DeLaval's industry leadership. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, Product Owners, Supply Chain, Legal and other key stakeholders.
You will also:
- Advice and participate in product development and change projects regarding regulatory compliance, test and certification requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee third party testing and certification activities in collaboration with R&D.
- Support Product Owners with assessment and interpretation of requirements for new markets or applications
- Monitor, assess impact, communicate and educate in changes in relevant product legislations, standards and ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement and develop tools and processes for compliance related activities
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- MSc in engineering or experience equivalent to similar degree
- Experience in
- Working with regulations and product standards for electronic products
- third-party testing and certification
- conformity assessments related to EU regulations. Knowledge in global product regulations and market access is very positive.
