What are your key responsibilities:
- Specification & Verification: Specify, validate, and verify functional safety aspects of systems and components in co-operation with Chief Engineers and your Line Manager.
- System & Component Development: Develop systems and components to ensure that specified technical customer demands, safety, legislation requirements, and internal demands are met with precision.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and coordinate the functional safety of systems and components design between counterbalanced products, and lead assigned work with partners and suppliers.
- Process & Way of Working: Assist in the definition and implementation of the "Way of Working" within the functional safety area.
- Activity Planning & Execution: Plan and execute tasks in alignment with project milestones and specified requirements to ensure timely delivery of safety-critical objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead assigned work with partners and suppliers, including strategic customer and supplier visits aligned with business and team priorities.

What you bring to the role:
- Qualifications: M.Sc. Eng. or B.Sc. Eng. in Mechatronics or similar engineering discipline, or equivalent knowledge gained through hands-on experience.
- Technical Expertise: Solid technical knowledge regarding off-road mobile machinery or similar rubber tire vehicles, supported by experience in product development activities within mechatronics.
- Functional Safety Development: Experience or a strong interest in the development of Functional Safety is highly preferred.
- Customer Focus: A strong business- and market-oriented mindset with a persistent focus on identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
- Collaborative Spirit & Drive: A results-oriented driving force and positive attitude, acting as an effective problem solver with excellent analytical, structural, and communication skills.
- Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English, allowing for clear and professional communication across global and local teams.
