WHAT YOU'LL DO
We're looking for a Logistics Controlling Manager for Continent Latin America, Middle East & Africa, to lead the financial steering and controlling agenda for Continent Logistics. In this role, you'll ensure that logistics operations are managed in a compliant, cost-efficient and target-driven way, while supporting strong business decision-making from a financial, operational and sustainability perspective.
You'll act as a key spokesperson within Continent Logistics and towards global stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities from an end-to-end perspective, and playing a central role in driving performance across Warehouse, Transport and Trade.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead Continent Logistics controlling, ensuring operations run in line with budget, targets and global financial guidelines
- Own budget steering, forecasting and financial follow-up for Continent Logistics
- Drive target definition and follow-up, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives
- Translate financial and operational insights into clear actions to improve profitability and performance
- Identify improvements and synergies across Warehouse, Transport and Trade through analytical and strategic thinking
- Provide transparent performance follow-up, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities from a financial, operational and sustainability perspective
- Lead and align controlling teams across the continent, ensuring consistent reporting and priorities
- Be a key stakeholder in procurement and business decisions by providing strong financial analysis and business case input
- Drive the Growth Playbook and Capex process together with central controlling
- Act as a trusted advisor to Continent Logistics leadership, supporting decision-making with data and insights
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- Strong experience in controlling within logistics or supply chain, with solid understanding of end-to-end operations
- Good knowledge of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across a continent setup
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems from a 360-degree perspective
- Proven experience in financial steering, forecasting, budgeting and business case development
- Strong project management and prioritisation skills, able to manage complexity and multiple initiatives
- Leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and drive alignment
- Results-driven and proactive, with a clear focus on creating business value
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both regional and global teams
