Role Summary

MAN Financial Services, part of TRATON Financial Services, is a global provider of financial solutions within the commercial vehicle industry. We offer tailored financing, leasing, rental, and insurance solutions designed to simplify our customers' business and enable sustainable transport.

As a Senior Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening global business control and driving harmonization across all markets of MAN Financial Services. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Control, you will take ownership of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting while leading initiatives to standardize and optimize financial and business processes across regions.

You will also support system transformation and ensure high data quality to enable data-driven decision-making. This role combines hands-on controlling expertise with close stakeholder collaboration, contributing to operational excellence and scalable growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and efficiency by advancing professional standards and supporting the future growth of MAN Financial Services
• Collaborate strategically with regional directors and local experts on business development and growth planning, including presenting business cases to management
• Lead planning and reporting, long-term business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and timely regular/ad-hoc reporting
• Drive system and data excellence as a power user for reporting and BI tools, supporting SAP transition and ensuring high-quality data for regulatory compliance
• Manage external and internal stakeholders to secure efficient operations and compliance
• Act as a trusted finance partner, representing MAN Financial Services on Business Control matters towards TRATON Financial Services Head Office

Who You Are

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance with focus on financial planning and controlling
• Several years of experience in Finance & Controlling, ideally at OEM, in financial services, banking, or commercial vehicle industry
• Very strong understanding of financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flowAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
• Strong hands-on experience with HFM is required, alongside experience with SAP FI/CO and familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or FACTS
• Analytical mindset, self-driven, resilient, and flexible during closing and planning cycles
• Excellent English skills, willingness to travel, and ability to work in a hybrid model
• Additional language skills, particularly in German or Swedish, are considered an asset
