Job description

We are looking for a skilled HIL Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality verification and validation of embedded systems by working closely with cross-functional teams.

Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in HIL, embedded systems, or verification & validation
• Strong experience with dSPACE HIL environments and Simulink
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and software components
• Experience with CI/CD environments and troubleshooting workflows
• Proficiency in Python and/or CAPL scripting
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as Lauterbach (Trace32)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize dSPACE HIL test environments
• Support verification and validation of embedded software and hardware
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into test and build environments
• Troubleshoot build failures, test environment issues, and CI/CD pipeline bottlenecks
• Perform hardware and software debugging using Trace32 (Lauterbach)
• Support teams in diagnosing and resolving Software Component (SWC) issues
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and CAPL
• Manage and update Simulink environments, including signal databases and model synchronization
• Conduct system-level testing and analyze results to improve system reliability and stability

Salary range: From 46 667 SEK to 56 667 SEK (gross, per month)

The stated salary falls within the established salary range for the position and is determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
