In BA Markets, the independent Compliance & Operational Risk Management (COR) function supports and challenges the business by fostering a strong compliance with applicable legislation, including ESG (environmental, social and governance) legislation and frameworks.

Then join our team in BA Markets as a Working Student .
By supporting our Responsible Souring Manager in relevant tasks, you will gain valuable practical experience in how ESG regulation and frameworks apply to an international energy company and, specifically, energy and commodity sourcing and trading.
What you will do:
- support sustainability, climate and responsible sourcing activities across BA Markets
- conduct research and analyse sustainability, climate and other ESG-related regulatory developments relevant to energy markets and commodity trading
- support climate-related initiatives, including climate risk assessments
- assist in sustainability due diligence, responsible sourcing assessments, monitoring sustainability-related risks, and engagement with industry initiatives and external stakeholders
- collect, review and maintain ESG-related data, records and documentation used for reporting, assurance and continuous improvement purposes
- assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, management materials and internal communications.
You are curious, structured, motivated to learn, think outside the box and eager to “run an extra mile”.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science
- Strong interest in sustainability, climate and responsible business practices
- Able to work independently and with a high level of integrity (you handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience or coursework related to sustainability, climate, supply chains, sustainability reporting or due diligence is considered an advantage, but is not required.
- Location: Solna, Stockholm
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Working time: could be discussed and adjusted
- Hybrid working with regular office presence
- Duration: 6-9 months
