The opportunity

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a key role in helping our customers, partners, and distributors get the most out of our products.

You will be the go-to person when technical challenges arise, combining your troubleshooting skills, product knowledge, and curiosity to investigate issues and find the right solution. A big part of your role will involve recreating customer issues, testing our products, and digging deep to understand what is causing the problem.

You will work closely with colleagues across R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Sales to solve complex cases, and from time to time, take your expertise out into the real world to help customers solve challenges on site and get even more out of our products.

The successful applicant

We are looking for the Sherlock Holmes of the engineering world, someone who is curious, analytical and doesn't give up until they understand what is really going on. You enjoy investigating problems, connecting the dots, and finding solutions through thorough and structured troubleshooting.

You don't need to have all the answers from day one, but you should have a genuine interest in technology, a hands-on mindset, and the curiosity to keep digging until you find the root cause.

• Experience in technical support, software development, automation, or a similar technical role
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

Bonus list

• Supporting industrial automation products or software solutions
• HMI/SCADA design and development
• PLC programming
• Industrial and IT communication technologies (e.g. Ethernet, MQTT, OPC UA, fieldbus networks)
• Linux-based systems
• Docker and containerized applications
• Cyber security principles and standards (e.g. IEC 62443)
• Additional languages besides English
