The Role

Are you passionate about innovation and working in an ever-changing, competitive industry? Our Payment team is seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in Java and Spring, React JS is a plus, to enhance the payment experience for customers across all brands. You will participate in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges. We strongly believe in the "You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It" ethos and everyone is expected to take part of the full system / development life cycle to ensure reliability and uptime of the production environment.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in building services in Java and Spring framework
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines
• Basic understanding of React JS, Javascript and/or Typescript. Having worked with micro-frontends is a plus
• Familiarity with development and delivery tools such as Git, Gradle, Maven and RPM
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and deployment
• Experience working in agile environments
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Ability to identify bugs, edge cases, and potential security, reliability or performance issues
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and validating their output
