We're now looking for a Senior Method Engineer within Energy Storage and Charging - a broad and hands-on role where you'll influence how our products are serviced globally.

As a Senior Method Engineer, you'll bring the workshop perspective into development and ensure our products work in the real world. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a deep, end-to-end understanding of our products, service network, and customer needs - making it a strong step for your future career within Traton Group.

You will:

  • Define service requirements and influence design decisions based on real workshop conditions
  • Develop, test, and verify repair and diagnostic methods - both digitally (e.g., CATIA) and hands-on in the workshop
  • Identify risks related to safety, ergonomics, and serviceability early in development
  • Create and validate methods for dismantling, repair, and reassembly of components
  • Collaborate closely with technical writers to translate methods into global service instructions
  • Work cross-functionally with designers, project managers, mechanics, tool developers, and service network representatives
  • You'll be involved in multiple projects simultaneously, working in a dynamic environment where new challenges and questions arise continuously.
  • Your work will directly influence products used by mechanics and operators worldwide - and ensure we meet the needs of our global service network.

We think you'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience working with vehicles, preferably including high-voltage systems
  • Are comfortable understanding drawings and technical solutions - even if you don't come from a design background
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with different stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
  • Enjoy working across functions and influencing decisions from a service perspective
  • Are curious, pragmatic, and able to see the bigger picture
  • Take ownership and are comfortable navigating a broad and sometimes ambiguous role
  • Have formal education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar is valuable as we equally value relevant hands-on experience.
  • Are fluent in English is required, both verbal and written. Swedish is considered as meritiorious.
  • B driver's license, while C, CE, or D is a plus.
