We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to help shape and evolve our diverse, future‑ready data environment. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable, efficient, and compliant data solutions while continuously strengthening our operational excellence and exploring new opportunities for innovation and growth.



About the role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with experience in data architecture and engineering.

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Data Architecture:

    • Define and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance policies.

    • Ensure data consistency, quality, and security across the organization.

  • Data Engineering:

    • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for on‑premise systems.

    • Optimize ETL processes to integrate and transform data efficiently.

    • Manage data quality, lineage, and availability across multiple systems.

    • Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data is insight-ready and accessible.

  • Development and Integration:

    • Build and maintain applications and integrations for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using C# .NET/Python.

    • Develop and deploy automation workflows and scoring applications to enhance data operations.

    • Monitor, debug, and resolve application incidents to ensure seamless data processing.

  • Collaboration and Growth:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business goals.

    • Stay curious and engaged in industry trends, contribute ideas for improvements.

    • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.

Requirements:

  • A valid work permit.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience and strong knowledge in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong skills in SQL, C# .NET/Python.

    • Experience with ETL tools, data pipeline frameworks, and orchestration tools.

    • Knowledge of data governance, GDPR compliance, and security best practices.

    • Understanding of CI/CD principles

  • Other Skills:

    • Fluency in English required. Knowledge in one or several Nordic languages is a plus.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
