🎯 About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer within the Sensor Control Software team, you will develop and maintain core software components for advanced radar and sensor systems.

You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, working on current and future sensor platforms. Your responsibilities will include software design, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality software for technically complex applications.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain core software components using modern C++.

Contribute to software development for advanced radar and sensor platforms.

Work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and development to deployment and maintenance.

Develop and troubleshoot software in Linux-based development environments.

Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

Work with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated development workflows.

Apply agile software development practices to deliver incremental improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical problems.

Take ownership of assigned components and drive issues through to resolution.

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.

At least 5 years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on programming skills in C++.

Experience working in Linux-based development environments.

Solid understanding of software engineering principles and modern development practices.

Experience with version control systems, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Experience developing software for radar, sensors, signal processing, or other complex embedded systems.

Familiarity with real-time or performance-critical software.

Experience with continuous integration, automated verification, and software quality assurance.
