The opportunity
Transformers Insulation and Components is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells Bushings and Tap Changers on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
We are now looking for a Project manager for Bushings and Tap Changers focused on deliveries for HVDC projects. This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks, and you will get great opportunities for learning and development. Our team culture is flexible, transparent, and cooperative. How you'll make an impact
Lead and coordinate HVDC projects together with the HVDC Sales team from tender phase to project closure, managing all stages from purchase order through design, manufacturing, and delivery of bushings and tap changers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and end customers, ensuring that all technical, safety, quality, and financialrequirements are met while communicating progress throughout the project.
Coordinate internally with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Shipping, as well as externally with customers, ensuring alignment on timelines, milestones, and on‑time delivery of the agreed project scope.
Handle planning, follow‑up, and reporting, including monitoring key deadlines and ensuring transparency both internally and toward the customer.
Travel may be required, and representing Hitachi Energy at customer sites and meetings will form part of your responsibilities.
Your Background
Thrives in a high‑paced, international environment and enjoys collaborating across diverse business areas and regions.
Brings a strong technical and/or commercial interest and is motivated to grow within a Project Manager role, with a structured, service‑minded, and communicative approach.
Demonstrates dynamic, social teamwork skills combined with strong leadership and a high level of cooperation.
Holds experience from project management or similar roles (considered a merit) and is fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
Possesses solid skills in Microsoft Office and experience working with business software such as SAP or other ERP systems.
