Job Description
Customer Growth is a newly established global function created to enable the next phase of Wallenius Wilhelmsen's commercial transformation. As part of our ambitious Commercial Excellence agenda within Customer Growth, we are evolving our commercial operating model through several strategic initiatives, including implementation of a CRM solution, transformation of our sales and customer management organization, and rollout of a new customer segmentation model.
The Customer Growth organization is still in a build-up phase, creating a unique opportunity to join a transformation journey
We are now looking for a Project Manager - Sales Governance & Process Excellence to join our Commercial Strategy & Operations team. The role will play a key part in aligning commercial strategy, CRM transformation, sales processes, and operating models while enabling adoption of new ways of working across the organization.
Responsibilities
Governance & Operating Model Development
• Develop and own the end-to-end sales and customer management process blueprint
• Define and implement standards and templates for governance and process development
• Design governance frameworks enabling clear decision-making and accountability
• Lead development of RACI models and cross-functional governance structures
• Establish collaboration and knowledge-sharing mechanisms across teams
• Continuously refine governance frameworks in line with organizational changes and business needs
Process Excellence & Transformation
• Lead development of new ways of working linked to the ongoing sales transformation
• Translate CRM-driven and customer segmentation initiatives into clear operational processes
• Support alignment and consistency across process improvement initiatives
• Ensure new processes are practical, scalable, and embedded in daily operations
Cross-functional Alignment & Continuous Improvement
• Act as a coordination point across Sales, CRM, and Commercial Strategy stakeholders
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across commercial processes
• Establish mechanisms to monitor process effectiveness and adoption
• Maintain clear and accessible governance and process documentation
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone with:
• 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3+ years of management consulting experience with focus on commercial transformation, process design, or business operations roles within a B2B environment.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end sales processes and customer lifecycle management frameworks, including business process design, mapping, and optimization
• Experience in developing governance frameworks and RACI models to support clear decision-making and accountability.
• Strong understanding of sales operating models, customer segmentation, and commercial processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and define improvement initiatives.
• Experience establishing KPIs, process performance metrics, and monitoring adoption of new ways of working.
• Strong attention to detail, with a pragmatic approach to designing processes that are practical and scalable.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a strong advantage
