Your mission

We continue to expand and are now looking for a committed Production Engineer with a strong interest in technology, innovation and teamwork. As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You will work operationally with production improvements by analyzing improvement proposals and production data to identify and implement changes that strengthen our quality focus and increase productivity.

The role is broad and varied with a lot of contact with other departments, operators and supervisors. An important part of your work will be to plan and drive activities to develop our internal processes. The position will be based in our location at Eksjö / on Site.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing improvements within the business
• Identifying and solving production-related problems
• Analyzing improvement proposals and production data
• Leading projects within production development
• We are looking for someone who is technically interested in machines and processes, is meticulous, quality-conscious and committed.

What we are looking for

• Have a BsC engineering degree or equivalent work experience
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Swedish and English in speech and in writing

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working within a larger manufacturing company
• Experience working in projects
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
• Hydraulics knowledge

As a person, you are driven and development-oriented with an analytical vein where you have an eye for the bigger picture and context. You will be appreciated for your communicative ability and your team-oriented lack of prestige. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Production Engineer for Olsbergs in Eksjö Olsbergs develops, designs and manufactures electro-hydraulic control systems for mobile machine applications and is a world leader in control systems for truck cranes and forestry cranes. Our control systems are characterized by good control and coordination properties that are highly appreciated by crane operators, with over 20,000 systems installed around the world. Behind the high performance lies more than 40 years of continuous development work and around 30 patented innovations. All manufacturing takes place in our own factories in Eksjö and Vallentuna for complete control of the entire production chain, from the smallest detail to finished systems. The companies had a turnover of around SEK 175 million in 2024 and have around 110 employees.
