We are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to take ownership of the Swedish market for our Viscometry, Volatility & Consistency, and Refractive Index & Polarimetry portfolio. This is a strategic territory-management role focused on building long-term customer relationships, expanding market share, and delivering sustainable business growth.

Job Description

What You'll Do
  • Own and develop the Swedish market for your product portfolio.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with laboratory managers, quality managers, researchers, production managers, and senior decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities for long-term growth.
  • Proactively generate new business while expanding existing customer partnerships.
  • Lead the complete consultative sales process from discovery and solution development to negotiation and closing.
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, demonstrations, and seminars.
  • Collaborate closely with application specialists and service engineers to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM records.
  • Represent Anton Paar at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events throughout Sweden.

Industries and Applications

You will work with customers in petroleum & fuels, petrochemicals & chemicals, food & beverage, sugar & sweeteners, flavors & fragrances, pharmaceuticals, and universities & research institutes.

Typical applications include viscosity measurement, consistency testing, refractive index analysis, concentration determination, quality control, raw material verification, and process optimization.

Qualifications

Who You Are
  • A relationship builder who enjoys creating long-term customer partnerships.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities and create value for customers.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical specialists and executive decision-makers.
  • Experienced in technical B2B sales, business development, account management, or scientific instrumentation.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a nationwide territory independently.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Holder of a valid driver's license and willing to travel throughout Sweden.

    The following are considered strong advantages, but are not required:
  • Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Physics, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Familiarity with industries such as petroleum, chemicals, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, or academia.
  • Experience working with analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, process instrumentation, or technical solutions.
