Beskrivning
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Scania has positioned itself as one of the market leaders in sustainable transport, partly thanks to its modular product design approach, which is supported by tools such as CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE. To secure these tools' stability, data integrity, and user experience, a continuous but labour-intensive quality assurance process is in place. Currently, UI-based black-box system and end-to-end test cases managed in Jira are being automated using Tricentis Tosca to reduce the manual portion of the process.
Role summary
This thesis work should evaluate how test automation could be combined with agentic AI to identify bottlenecks and facilitate workflows for test-case generation, refinement, automation preparation, and its review.
Jira/Zephyr, Tricentis Tosca, MCP servers, APIs, and automation repositories may be evaluated as possible parts of the solution landscape.
