For a set of diverse telecom workloads, enable rapid and flexible exploration of deployment options/distributions, resource types and configurations, constraints, with settable targets/goals optimizing towards different values (cost, power, size, few options, etc), and additionally AI-Assisted What-If Exploration and Bottleneck Discovery.

About this opportunity:
This is a Master Thesis position for 1-2 students based in Stockholm, Kista.
For a set of diverse telecom workloads, enable rapid and flexible exploration of deployment options/distributions, resource types and configurations, constraints, with settable targets/goals optimizing towards different values (cost, power, size, few options, etc), and additionally AI-Assisted What-If Exploration and Bottleneck Discovery.
What you will do:
- Model the needed entities, relations, and flexibility/constraints to achieve the wanted optimizations, exploration, and analysis.
- Build an UI on top of this, to make the solution intuitive and easy to use, both for doing the exploration and for visualizing the results
The skills you bring:
- General Programming skills
- Interest in optimization, operations research, constraint solving, or similar techniques
- Modeling skills (for an underlying formal model)
- Ability to wisely apply AI to address certain aspects of the problem
- Basic UI design (for a visualization layer)
- Experience in Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, or similar languages is beneficial, but language choice is secondary
