Description of the role & key responsibilities

As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to assess and improve our clients' security posture. Your responsibilities will include:

· Performing penetration tests at client environments under supervision and guidance

· Participating in security assessments across multiple domains, such as:

o Web applications

o Active Directory environments

o Mobile applications

o Cloud environments

o Red Team and Continous attack simulation-related activities

· Documenting findings and contributing to clear, high-quality reporting for our clients

· Continuously developing your technical skills within offensive security, supported by training, mentorship and real client work

· Collaborating with colleagues in multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams

Qualification

· Relevant IT or cybersecurity education

· At least 4 years of experience within IT and/or cybersecurity, for example:

o System administration

o DevOps

o Software development

· A clear interest in offensive security and penetration testing

Required qualifications & skills

· Solid understanding of IT fundamentals (operating systems, networks, applications)

· Interest in security testing methodologies and attacker mindsets

· Experience from platforms such as Hack the Box is considered a plus

· Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

· Ability to communicate professionally with both technical colleagues and clients
