We are looking for an IT Procurement Partner to join the Corporate Procurement, Indirect Procurement team in Espoo or Stockholm.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to act as the strategic IT procurement partner for the Services and Business solutions area. The person in this role will lead procurement and SRM for the respective IT area and align sourcing priorities and outcomes with IT roadmap and digital growth objectives. You will manage selected IT categories and ensure value creation, performance and risk management across the area.

The role combines close collaboration with IT, business and suppliers, and focuses on leading the procurement activities in a cross-functional virtual team rather than executing all tasks and sourcing cases personally.

Main responsibilities:

  • Own procurement planning, performance and activities for the IT Services and Business solutions area
  • Create and implement relevant category strategies and translate IT roadmaps and demand into sourcing plans by providing commercial, contractual, and market perspectives
  • Act as the primary procurement interface for the Business IT Leadership team
  • Steer and manage the procurement execution through a virtual team and act as an escalation point when needed
  • Execute selected sourcing activities and drive adoption of new suppliers, contracts, and models
  • Ensure support for IT projects, including e.g. changes, claims and dispute prevention
  • Drive SRM activities and supplier performance management, including executive‑level engagement and effective issue resolution where needed
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, IT governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT procurement including category management
  • Strong understanding of IT procurement such as security, data privacy, managing complex legacy agreements, IT consulting, application services and project procurement
  • Experience on acting as the primary procurement interface to IT leadership teams and steering decisions with commercial and market insight
  • Proven track record of owning procurement planning, SRM and performance management for an IT area
  • Ability to translate business objectives and IT roadmaps into sourcing plans
  • Proven experience of leading virtual category team, and creating and implementing category strategies in the IT service area
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence business decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex commercial topics clearly and in a business-friendly way
  • Fluency in English
