Beskrivning
Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company within Scania CV AB. We are responsible for production and facility maintenance within Scania and have approximately 1,200 employees in Södertälje, Oskarshamn and Luleå. Our operations are characterized by continuous development, high levels of expertise and close collaboration.
About the role
As Global Product Owner for Maximo, you will play a key and strategic role in ensuring that Scania's global Enterprise Asset Management solution develops in a direction that best supports the business.
Maximo is used across Scania to support maintenance operations, including planning and execution of maintenance activities, spare parts management and other processes related to both production equipment and facility infrastructure.
The application is used globally, and you will work with stakeholders representing different countries and business areas. You will be the person who brings together global business needs, prioritizes them and makes decisions on which improvements and developments should be pursued.
You will work closely with the business, internal development resources and our external Maximo solution provider. While technical understanding is important, this is primarily a business-oriented Product Owner role. Your ability to understand maintenance operations, manage stakeholders and translate business needs into clear priorities will be key to your success.
Your main responsibilities:
As Global Product Owner for Maximo, you will:
• Own and continuously develop the direction and priorities for the global Maximo solution.
• Gather, understand and prioritize maintenance-related needs from stakeholders across Scania.
• Make decisions on which improvements, developments and upgrades should be prioritized.
• Ensure that Maximo develops in line with the needs and strategic direction of the maintenance organization.
• Work closely with global process representatives and stakeholders from different countries.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and priorities for development.
• Collaborate with internal application developers and the external Maximo solution provider.
• Challenge and evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs and create value.
• Coordinate and align different stakeholder perspectives and ensure transparency around priorities and decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement of the application and the maintenance processes it supports.
• Represent the business in discussions concerning the future development of Maximo.
• Ensure that the application remains fit for purpose as Scania's maintenance organization and ways of working evolve.
Who you are
We are looking for a business-oriented Product Owner with a strong understanding of maintenance operations and Enterprise Asset Management solutions.
You have experience with:
• Enterprise Asset Management solutions, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Maintenance processes and operations.
• Business requirements and prioritization.
• Stakeholder management in a complex organization.
• Working with development teams and/or external suppliers.
• Driving improvements and translating business needs into digital solutions.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is also valuable, as there are similarities between these environments.
Experience from a manufacturing or industrial environment and from a global organization is considered an advantage.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Are comfortable working with stakeholders from different countries and business areas.
• Can balance competing needs and make clear prioritization decisions.
• Are able to represent the business perspective while working closely with IT and technical teams.
• Have a good understanding of both business processes and supporting systems.
• Are structured and able to turn complex requirements into clear priorities and actions.
• Are comfortable taking ownership and making decisions.
• Have the ability and willingness to learn and adopt Scania's ways of working.
Who we are
At Scania Industrial Maintenance, we work to create the conditions for reliable, efficient and sustainable production through professional maintenance and technical expertise. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to Scania's long-term development while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
What Scania offers
We offer a dynamic and flexible workplace with hybrid working opportunities, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your career development both locally and internationally.
