Become a part of PwC:s Finance Consulting team
CFO Insights & Analytics is part of the Finance Consulting team within PwC Consulting & Strategy and is the team that focuses on FP&A e.g., financial modelling, data analytics, data platforms, management reporting, scenario analysis etc. Finance Consulting is an established team of around 30 consultants, supporting a broad range of clients in the private equity and corporate sector.

We deliver different initiatives within the FP&A agenda to our client. often end-to-end solutions within FP&A, from initial design to technical implementation, to help clients unlock deeper, faster business insights. By working closely with clients and their data, we gain a thorough understanding of their business, finances, and strategic goals. We then develop and deploy market-leading software solutions such as e.g., Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (data platform) or modelling and automation in more traditional tools e.g.; Excel and Powerpoint. to automate and elevate reporting processes and data analytics. Together with Finance teams, we make our clients take their finance function to the next level by supporting them with different development initiatives to create a 'fit for purpose' finance function.

As a consultant in our team, you will:
  • Work closely on and lead client projects, support the client throughout the process and manage the project team.
  • Perform different FP&A/Business Control related tasks for our clients such as building business plan, financial modelling, scenario analysis amongst other common finance initiatives.
  • Utilize your skills to develop and implement automated internal reporting solutions. This will require your deep understanding of structuring and defining large data sets across various financial and operational systems, aligning them with the company's strategy.
  • Participate in workshops with Board representatives, management, and finance teams. Your ability to visualize and communicate complex business concepts using BI tools will enable our clients to gain a deeper understanding of their business.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff and contribute to team growth, business development, and a positive work culture, while continuously updating your technical knowledge and staying informed on business and economic trends.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives. Your insights and expertise will help identify prospects for both new and established clients.


Skills & Requirements Qualifications for this position:
  • You have a Bachelor's (requirement) or Master's (meriting) degree in Industrial Management, Finance & Accounting, Economics, Data & Programming combined with finance.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in consulting, business controlling, FDD, or related roles, with a minimum of 2 years specifically as a consultant.
  • Great analytical and financial skills in general and specifically within the FP&A/Business Control area
  • Advanced project management skills e.g., experience in leading projects for clients, with a focus on stakeholder management.
  • Great proficiency in Excel as well as some experience in data platforms and visualisation tools such as; Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Power Query, Power BI and Qlik or similar.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken.
