Electrical Engineer - Cable Harness Routing Designer

Join our team and help shape the future of sustainable transport solutions. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in cable harness routing design to support the development of new vehicle platforms and products. In this role, you will design and optimize cable harness routing solutions that meet functional, manufacturing, serviceability, quality, and cost requirements while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cable harness routing solutions in 3D CAD according to technical requirements and design standards.
• Create, maintain, and release routing models and associated engineering documentation.
• Optimize harness installations for packaging, manufacturability, serviceability, robustness, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with electrical architects, mechanical designers, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during concept, development, and detailed design phases.
• Support prototype builds, validation activities, engineering changes, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in cable harness routing, electrical installations, or mechanical design within product development projects.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5 or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) principles.
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English, with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
