Digital Gateway Lead – Tax & Legal Platform – Senior Manager/Manager

We are looking for an experienced Platform Lead to join our Tax & Legal Technology team in Sweden. In this senior role (Senior Manager or Manager, depending on experience), you will lead the rollout, adoption, and business enablement of KPMG's Global Digital Gateway platform, shaping how digital solutions are embedded into Tax & Legal service delivery.

Tax & Legal Technology is part of Tax Transformation, with focus on supporting internal transformation and Service Lines, while collaborating with stakeholders in client-related contexts.

About the role

KPMG Digital Gateway is our global cloud-based Tax & Legal Technology Platform that brings KPMG's tax and legal solutions together in one secure, collaborative environment. It helps clients and KPMG teams streamline compliance, automate workflows, manage data & documents, and gain actionable insights - transforming how we deliver value to our clients.

As a Digital Gateway Lead, you act as the central orchestrator for KPMG's Digital Gateway platform in Sweden. You will drive the adoption and integration of KPMG's Tax & Legal digital platform in our Swedish practice, with close collaboration across the Nordic region. In this role, you will lead the program management and business enablement for Digital Gateway in Sweden. This is a broad, strategic position, ideal for someone passionate about digital transformation, stakeholder engagement, and innovative service delivery in the tax and legal domain.

What you will do

• Platform Program Management & Governance: Serve as the local PMO for Digital Gateway in Sweden. Structure and prioritize incoming platform-related requests from our Tax & Legal service lines (tax & legal consultants), ensuring they align with strategic priorities and Swedish/Nordic Digital Gateway plans. Monitor project progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure coordinated execution across service lines.

• Nordic/EMA Alignment & Collaboration: Work closely with the Nordic Digital Gateway team to align Sweden's platform activities with regional initiatives and best practices. Participate in governance forums and share insights to maintain consistency and leverage synergies across countries.

• Business Enablement & Solutions Shaping: Act as a bridge between business and Digital Gateway Implementation teams and help service line leaders and engagement teams understand Digital Gateway's capabilities in practical terms. Advise on how the platform's modules (workflow tracking, data management, document collaboration, AI-driven tools) and connected applications can best support client needs. Together with Business Technology Leads translate business requirements into high-level Digital Gateway solutions or configurations, working with service lines and implementation teams for execution.

• Engagement Support & Client Demos: Support client-facing initiatives by coordinating and delivering platform demonstrations and proof-of-concepts during pursuits or project kick-offs. Collaborate with client teams to showcase how Digital Gateway adds value to clients. Ensure feedback from clients and teams is captured to continuously improve platform use.

• Change Management & Training: Drive adoption of new ways of working enabled by Digital Gateway. Develop and execute change management plans - including training sessions, communications, and support - to help our internal teams embrace the platform in their everyday work. Champion a "digital and transformative mindset" in the Tax & legal practice by highlighting success stories and facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.

• Scope & Risk Management: Ensure clear role boundaries for effective collaboration - for example, while you coordinate platform usage in client engagements, you will partner with risk management, contracting, and implementation teams rather than directly managing those areas. You will focus on platform enablement and let specialized teams manage detailed technical configurations, ensuring responsibilities are well-defined.

• Professional experience (5-7+ years) in program/project management, digital transformation, or technology enablement roles - preferably within professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environments.

• Strong coordination and leadership skills - able to orchestrate complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, drive progress, and instill structured processes. Prior PMO or Portfolio Management experience is a plus.

• Change management and communication abilities - experience leading organizational change and technology rollouts, including training users and securing buy in for new processes or tools.

• Familiarity with tax, legal, or finance operations is advantageous (to understand the business context of the platform), but a keen interest in digital platforms and innovation in professional services is most critical, in combination with being a fast learner with an ability to quickly understand a business context and identify key processes.

• Client-facing acumen - comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, both internally and with clients, to demonstrate technology solutions and articulate their value.

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Tax, Law, or related field.

• Professional certifications in change management and project/program management are a plus.

• Fluency in English is required and a strong proficiency in Swedish is preferred.

Location & ways of working

This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, working in a Nordic collaboration model. Other locations in Sweden may be considered for the right candidate. We offer a hybrid work environment - while you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders in Sweden and occasionally across Nordic countries (some travel may be needed for key meetings or workshops), we support flexible work arrangements.
