Role Overview:

As Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key member in setting up the infrastructure, administrate and maintain for cloud need needs for all Automation and Digital products AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure areas . As part of managing cloud infrastructure across Digital products, the resource will be responsible for cloud infrastructure setup in AWS and administration of AWS using terraform, CloudFormation etc., participate in release execution, implement strategic cloud initiatives brought by our cloud architect

In this position you will join Cytiva's Automation Digital and Learning group catering to multiple IoT and SaaS products catering to biopharma industry. This team will be highly visible across the Digital solutions group providing shared service for all of the Digital products. We are seeking motivated Cloud/DevOps Engineer to work on the installation , administration , and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain a broad range of cloud-based systems and services, aligning them with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Collaborate seamlessly with engineers and developers to integrate cloud services, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and growth.
• Ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure, keeping abreast of the latest developments in cloud security and performance optimization.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery solutions, preparing for various scenarios to ensure business continuity.
• Proactively monitor system performance, using data to anticipate issues before they arise and troubleshoot any issues that do occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant industry certifications will be considered a plus.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure development, preferably with major platforms like AWS, or Azure. Extensive experience with other platforms will also be valued.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, with the ability to implement these principles in real-world scenarios.
• Develop and deploy software updates and patches using our preferred tech stack of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Azure etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding creative solutions to complex technical issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A continuous learner, always seeking to expand your knowledge and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
