The Opportunity:

Avantor is currently looking for a motivated Service Assistant to join our expanding team at the GoCo Health Innovation Centre in Mölndal in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a dynamic and diverse work environment within the life sciences industry.
About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will provideoperational support to various laboratories on-site, with a strong focus onlogistics and shipment handling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and shipping goods, including unpacking consumables and chemicals
• Managing and disposing of lab waste
• Restocking lab materials
• Delivering clean glassware and lab clothing
• Simpler purchasing activities, such as placing and following up on orders
• Calibrating and cleaning lab equipment (e.g., pipettes)
• Participating in the creation of work instructions

Who Are We Looking For?

Theideal candidatehas a logistics background, with hands-on experience inshipping, receiving, and inventory handling. You may currently be working inlogistics, warehousing, or supply chain, and looking to transition into a support role towards laboratories. No scientific education is required-full internal trainingwill be provided.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Customer-minded, service-oriented, and highly motivated
• Detail-oriented and proactive
• Experienced in logistics or shipment handling is a bonus
• Comfortable working in a hospital or lab environment (preferred)
• Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
• Organized, flexible, and a strong team player

You'll be joining acollaborative and customer-focused team of 8 5, including a Campus Service Lead, Campus Service Assistant, Campus Service Purchase Coordinator and Campus Service Coordinator. The team is passionate about supporting scientific innovation and operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
