About the position
One of Perido's many clients is a company active in the automotive industry. The group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction machinery, and marine and industrial engines. We are looking for a Material Engineering Center Administrator to join their team in the company's office in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks:

• Classify, mainly, but not limited to, polymers and metals
• Correct material mapping (reduce duplicates of the same material with different naming)
• Support material expert with populate the Material Data Tool with additional properties (collected from different sources)
• File and confirm supplier info for each material

The work will include dialogue with material suppliers and developers within R&D to clarify material data given.

We are looking for you with very good communication skills who are good at handling people. You can quickly respond to problems and come up with solutions. With an analytical mindset and a good ability to plan and organize your work, you manage to deliver results with quality and handle even the most unpredictable situations with high complexity without problems. That said, skills and experience are important, but personality and potential are key.

Qualifications:

• Field of Expertise: Materials Science (Metals and Polymers)
• Education: BSc or MSc level
• Language required: Excellent skills in English, written and spoken
• Skills: Excel, Material and Surface Science Basic understanding of Chemistry is preferred.

Contract type and hours
Full time, consulting assignment until 2024-08-18. Start 2024-04-29.
