We are looking for a highly skilled CAD Mechanical Engineer with strong automotive experience to join our development team. This role focuses on Interior engineering within a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and release 3D/2D CAD models using CATIA V5 (highly recommended deep knowledge in both surface- and solid work bench).

Design and optimize interior parts for the interior room and interior trim area.

Ensure manufacturability, feasibility, and alignment with engineering standards.

Support cross‑functional teams throughout the development cycle.

Manage CAD data, drawings, and release processes in relevant systems.

Ensure correct status in Mechanical Integration phases and virtual builds for both CAD and performance maturity.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with CATIA V5.

Proven background in interior engineering.

Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.

4+ years experience working with Volvo Cars.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams.

Confident in leading, taking action and communicating.

Location Requirement

Only candidates currently based in Sweden able to work in Gothenburg will be considered.
