Creating solutions for a better tomorrow

At COWI, you'll be part of a friendly and experienced water team, working on meaningful and exciting water and wastewater projects across the Nordic region and Northern Europe.Our clients span both the public and private sectors, and our solutions ensure access to clean drinking water and sustainable wastewater treatment - cornerstones of a resilient society. With more than 100 water specialists across the Nordics, we collaborate across borders and disciplines to deliver innovative, future-ready solutions. Current projects include new water supply systems for Stavanger and Oslo, Bergen Light Rail, the new Bodø Airport, Maxima/VA SYD in southern Sweden, and other major societal investments.

Your responsibilities

• Planning, design and preparation of technical documentation for water and wastewater facilities
• Discipline leadership and professional stewardship within water and wastewater
• Project delivery and assignment management
• Design management in projects of varying scale and complexity
• Contributing to knowledge sharing and collaboration within your professional community and across offices
• Supporting marketing initiatives and tender work

About you

You are motivated by contributing to essential infrastructure and tackling climate challenges. You are solution-oriented, collaborative and value an inclusive work environment. You understand client needs and are driven to create sustainable, high-quality engineering solutions that benefit both society and the environment. Curious, forward-thinking and proactive, you enjoy contributing to continuous improvement and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Solid professional experience within the water and wastewater sector
• Experience in design and modelling of water infrastructure systems, preferably in multidisciplinary projects with significant societal impact
• Leadership experience in water projects and strong communication skills, internally and externally
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Some of our projects and clients require security clearance, which may be a requirement for certain positions.
