At GeoGuessr, we do more than create games. Since 2013, we've crafted a game that turns the world into a playground for the curious and knowledge-hungry. The role

We are looking for a highly skilled UI Designer who wants to help shape playful, immersive and visually engaging experiences across browser, Steam and mobile apps.

You do not need to come from the gaming industry, but you should have a strong passion for creating digital products that feel alive, intuitive and beautifully crafted. You know how to use visual design, UI systems, motion, interaction and detail to capture attention, guide users and create memorable experiences.

Your strength lies in creating polished and engaging interfaces, from expressive UI elements and artwork to transitions, animations and interaction details. You also have a solid understanding of user flows, product thinking and how design choices affect the overall experience.

As a UI Designer at GeoGuessr, you will work closely with other UI designers, 3D designers and our tech teams to take the visual expression and game experience to the next level. You will help us make sure the experience feels cohesive, immersive and scalable across platforms.

Innovation and exploration will be part of your daily work. You actively use your creativity, curiosity and design craft to improve your own work and contribute to the team's direction. You are fluent in Figma and have started exploring how AI can support and expand your design process.

This role is based at our office in Stockholm, where collaboration, high energy and strong team skills are highly valued.

Who are you?

• You have proven experience of designing successful games or products.
• You have been working as a UI designer for at least 5+ years.
• You're a strong visual designer with a good understanding of game flows and game concepts.
• You are an artist that utilize art, movements, and interactions to create an enjoyable experience for the players.
• You are self-motivated and always want to challenge yourself and others.
• You like to work in a flexible and innovative environment.
• You are ready to work in a fast-paced, scaling organization.

Nice to have, but not a must

• Experience within motion and sound design.
• Experience within the gaming industry.
