The Atlas Copco Group Tax team is a global function of more than 40 professionals based in Sweden and internationally. As a Tax Data and Transformation Analyst, you'll play a key role in how we use data and technology to manage tax across the Group.

In this role, you will structure and analyze tax data, improve processes, and support digital initiatives across the Group. A key part of the role is to improve how tax data is sourced and accessed, creating more consistent and reliable information for compliance, reporting, and decision-making.

You will work closely with Finance, IT, and other specialists within Group Tax to support the development of better tax processes, tools, and ways of working.

The role offers broad exposure across tax, finance, and technology, with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing transformation and improvement initiatives. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine analytical work with process improvement and digital development in a global setting.

Your key responsibilities:

Identify data gaps and design solutions to centralize and automate tax and transfer pricing data

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Translate tax requirements into technical specifications for Finance and IT projects

Act as the liaison between Group Tax and other functions in current and future technology projects

Analyze tax data to verify quality and identify areas for optimization

Develop and maintain tax models, dashboards, and KPIs

Take ownership of internal tools and help improve ways of working within Group Tax

Support quarterly and year-end closing processes

Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives within Group Tax

You are curious about how things work and how they can work better. You enjoy combining analytical thinking with technology and are interested in a role that goes beyond traditional finance or tax work. We are looking for someone who is:

Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Proactive and able to work independently

Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Strong technical skills and analytical capabilities

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

A collaborative team player

You likely have a relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, along with around 4-5+ years of experience in tax, finance, data, systems or process improvement.

It is an advantage if you also have:

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

Strong Excel skills and experience of working with large data sets

Experience with ERP, consolidation or other finance-related system

Experience from tax, transfer pricing, finance, or controlling

Experience of process improvement, automation, or digital transformation projects

Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment

The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. The position is primarily office-based, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with company policy and business needs.
