Financial Controller - Group Accounting
TRATON Financial Services (TFS) is the captive financial arm of the TRATON Group. TFS provides financial services and solutions to all TRATON, Scania, MAN, International and Volkswagen Truck & Bus. Our service includes financing for customers, dealers, and distributors as well as insurance solutions. With presence in over 65 markets, we are already one of the most global actors in the financial services industry and are rapidly growing. We are now looking for analytical and engaged Financial Controller to join our Group Accounting team. Role Summary
As Financial Controller in the Group Accounting, you will be responsible for controlling, analysing and presenting financial information from our Financial Services companies around the world. You will work closely with local CFOs, finance and reporting teams, as well as stakeholders within TRATON and its brands.
You will take responsibility for assigned areas throughout the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes. By providing relevant and forward-looking analysis, you will contribute to a deeper understanding of the Financial Services business and support informed decision-making across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform financial control and quality assurance of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
- Consolidate, analyse and present financial results and key financial developments.
- Follow up and analyse financial services products and transactions, including areas related to IFRS 16.
- Review financial reporting from subsidiaries and challenge deviations, trends and unusual items.
- Support and guide Financial Services companies on accounting and reporting matters.
- Contribute to group reporting, consolidation and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial models, reporting processes and internal controls.
- Participate in projects, working groups and ad hoc assignments within Group Finance.
- Support the development and implementation of harmonised processes across the Financial Services organisation.
Who You Are
We are looking for a driven and analytical professional who enjoys working with financial information, understanding the business behind the numbers and collaborating with stakeholders across different countries and functions. To be successful in this role, you have:
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in Group Accounting, consolidation, financial controlling or financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, preferably including IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- An interest in financial services, banking, leasing or other asset-based financing businesses.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage several activities in parallel.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, combined with the ability to take ownership and lead workstreams when needed.
- Experience of working with consolidation, reporting or business intelligence systems is an advantage.
