About the position as Strategic Supply Chain Manager

This is a parental leave replacement for 9-12 months, offering you the opportunity to step into a key role and contribute to an exciting growth journey. As the Strategic Supply Chain Manager at AKTX, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the supply chains of the launched and upcoming products.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the availability of products, engaging in tasks such as supply and demand planning, forecasting to suppliers, capacity management and planning. You will be collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to create alignment on priorities and support e.g. capacity expansion projects and development projects. You will also, together with colleagues in the Operational Supply Chain group, coordinate the execution of product supply to meet customer demand and agreed stock levels, as well as act as the primary point of contact with suppliers/customers regarding demand, ensuring seamless day-to-day delivery plans.

Your main responsibilities:

Conduct tactical and operational product supply/demand planning, considering launch, commercial supply, clinical studies, and projects.

Lead meetings with suppliers on ongoing supply and supply performance.

Lead internal monthly S&OP-style meetings to create cross-functional alignment and drive progress and decision making.

Ensure accurate maintenance of systems master data and report key performance indicators.

Responsible for setting up, developing and maintaining key planning tools and production tracker.

Support Operational Supply Chain Managers in the day-to-day execution of the supply chain (e.g. shipments, order management, ERP system maintenance).

Identify areas of improvement/continuous improvement proposals and execution.

Requirements:

Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sciences, or Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.

3-5 years of hands-on Supply Chain experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in manufacturing and/or planning.

Proven skills in driving alignment and progress in internal and external cross-functional global teams.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to use e.g. Excel and Power Point to bring clarity to complex business problems and translate analysis into actionable insights.

Proven skills in planning and operational purchasing, demonstrating your ability to strategically coordinate and execute supply chain functions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, which is essential for effective communication within our multicultural and global team. Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.

Meritorious:

Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP, regulatory requirements and QA/QC

Preferred production experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated sectors.

A solid understanding and documented experience with ERP systems (D365)
