About the Role

As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, you will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and play a key role in shaping the future of Motherbrain. Working with a modern cloud-based tech stack (GCP), you will drive the design and delivery of scalable systems that enable smarter, data-driven investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex, scalable systems for a cloud-based platform.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Collaborate across disciplines with UX/UI designers, ML engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Advocate and implement best practices in testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Engage in strategic planning to align technology initiatives with business goals.

About You

You are a proactive leader with a passion for building innovative systems and empowering teams. Your technical expertise and ability to solve complex challenges make you a driving force in engineering excellence.
Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams or initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of frontend and backend technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in system design and architecture for cloud-based applications (preferably GCP).
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Growth-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and team empowerment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture design and implementation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of modern AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI).
