What you will be doing

Join Cloud Foundations and help build the Google Cloud platform that enables development teams across SEB to innovate securely and at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role where you develop landing zones, guardrails and platform capabilities, with coding, automation and developer experience at the core of what you do.

• Develop and maintain landing zones and platform capabilities in SEB's Google Cloud environment.
  

• Design, implement and deploy complex solutions, from architecture and code to production.
  

• Build and improve infrastructure as code, automation and CI/CD capabilities.
  

• Ensure the platform remains secure, reliable and aligned with Google's evolving services and the bank's requirements.
  

• Support development teams and architects by providing guidance and enabling secure self-service capabilities.
  

• Contribute to troubleshooting, incident handling, code reviews and continuous improvement within the team.
  

Who you are

You are a driven, proactive and collaborative engineer who takes ownership and enjoys solving complex problems. You continuously look for better ways of working, value knowledge sharing, and contribute to an open and transparent team environment where learning and improvement are part of everyday work.

Skills and experience

• Experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering or similar with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with AWS or Azure is considered an advantage.
  

• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code, automation and CI/CD in tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  

• Scripting and development in Python is a must, Go, PowerShell or Bash is meriting.
  

• Solid understanding of identity and access management, observability , networking and security in the cloud.
  

• Agile ways of working in a team with a shared backlog.
  

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
  

Nice to have

• Kubernetes/GKE, policy as code or self-service platforms consumed directly by developers.
  

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
  

• Certifications in Google Cloud, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
