Job description

Amaris Consulting is looking for an experiencedSoftware Engineerto join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable digital solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape innovative products in a fast-paced and international environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable software solutions for digital products and services
  • Collaborate closely with Designers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Build and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure applications
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality and stability
  • Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
  • Ensure coding practices and development standards are consistently followed
  • Challenge ideas and propose efficient, pragmatic, and innovative technical solutions
  • Work closely with Architecture and Analytics teams to align with technical guidelines and best practices
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously develop your technical expertise


Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • More than 8 years of experience in software development and engineering
  • Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, DynamoDB, React/Remix, and Athena SQL
  • Experience building global, high-performance, scalable systems and platforms
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices
  • Experience writing effective unit, integration, and automated tests
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub
  • Passion for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies
  • Experience working within cross-functional agile teams is considered a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process and interpret complex information
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Experience in the automotive sector is a plus
  • Fluent in English is mandatory and Swedish is a nice to have

Salary range: From 53333,00 SEK to 66667,00 SEK

The stated salary falls within the established salary range for the position and is determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
