Shared Services Finance Lead

On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Shared Services Finance Lead. You can standardise finance processes without losing the service understanding required by the businesses that depend on them.

The partner is developing a shared finance service across accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting. You will improve service quality, process ownership and automation while creating a clear operating relationship with business units and specialist finance teams.

Finance leadership is expected to protect trust in the numbers while improving the quality and pace of business decisions. Strong performance combines control, commercial judgement, clear priorities and development of the people delivering the work.

How you will work

You will combine leadership of the finance agenda with direct engagement in important decisions and exceptions. The partner expects clear standards, useful challenge and enough technical depth to support the team when judgement is required. Improvement must strengthen both control and service.

This is a leadership role with responsibility for direction, governance and the capability of others. You will create enough structure for teams to move independently while stepping into detail when risk or ambiguity demands it. The partner wants visible ownership without unnecessary hierarchy.

What you will do

Lead service delivery across core finance processes.

Define process ownership, controls and service measures.

Manage team priorities, capacity and capability development.

Improve handovers between shared services and business units.

Drive standardisation, automation and root cause improvement.

Support transitions of additional entities and activities.

Finance operations or shared services leadership experience.

Strong understanding of transactional finance and close processes.

Evidence of people and performance management.

Ability to lead process improvement across organisational boundaries.

Service mindset with strong control discipline.

Professional English and clear stakeholder communication.

Experience that would add value

Global business services or outsourced finance operations.

Robotic process automation and workflow tools.

ERP consolidation or finance transition experience.
