Job Description:

The client is seeking a Senior Systems Developer to take on a Function Architect role, focusing on supporting vehicle software and functional changes during the early stages of development. This position plays a critical role in shaping system concepts, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders to deliver well-defined and agreed technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and support software and functional changes in vehicle systems from initial concept through to finalized solutions.

Collaborate closely with internal customers, system owners, and relevant stakeholders impacted by system changes.

Lead and facilitate discussions to analyze requirements, system impacts, and dependencies across various domains.

Develop, define, and clearly communicate system architecture concepts, including interfaces, principles, data flows, and potential consequences.

Maintain accurate documentation of agreed architectural solutions within the designated toolchain.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Contribute to and promote a flow-driven development approach, ensuring best practices are followed across teams.

Total Experience Required:

Senior-level experience in system development, function development, or system ownership within an embedded or automotive environment.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Required Skills:

Strong expertise in vehicle/platform systems and systems development

In-depth understanding of system interactions and dependencies within complex platforms

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with communication protocols such as CAN and/or Ethernet

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for embedded systems

Prior experience with the client's ecosystem is considered highly advantageous

Languages Required:

English (Proficient)

Swedish (Preferred)
