Senior Network Architect

We are looking for a Senior Network Architect with CCIE/CCDE certification or equivalent expertise who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of networking and digital infrastructure at Telia Cygate.

My name is David Johansson, Head of Business Area Networks, and I am looking for an experienced and highly driven network expert who wants to work at the highest technical level. At Telia Cygate, you will join a community of leading architects and specialists, working with some of Sweden's most complex and business-critical network environments.

You will work with some of Sweden's largest enterprises, government agencies, and municipalities, helping them solve complex networking challenges and shape their future technology landscape.

In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities. You will design and drive next-generation network solutions, lead architecture initiatives and workshops, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Working closely with leading technology partners such as Cisco, HPE Aruba, Check Point, and Fortinet, you will be involved in large-scale, business-critical projects where technical leadership, innovation, and architectural excellence are highly valued.

What you will do in the role:

• Design and develop complex, scalable, and secure network solutions with a strong focus on automation, cloud connectivity, resilience, and business value
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building long-term strategic relationships through your expertise, credibility, and ability to solve complex challenges
• Collaborate with some of the industry's most experienced architects, consultants, and specialists in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning
• Lead and contribute to high-level workshops, architecture reviews, design decisions, technology roadmaps, and proof-of-concepts
• Drive technical strategy and help customers make informed decisions regarding network transformation, modernization, and future investments

To succeed in the role:

• CCIE, CCDE, or equivalent expert-level competence, with extensive experience designing and leading complex enterprise network architectures
• Deep expertise in several of the following areas: routing and switching, SD-WAN, automation, network security, data center networking, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructure
• Experience acting as a senior technical advisor and engaging confidently with both technical and executive stakeholders
• The ability to lead through expertise, influence strategic decisions, and build trust in complex customer environments
• A passion for technology, continuous development, and solving challenging problems
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
