Senior Cloud Solution Architecture - Data Security

As a Data Security Cloud Solution Architect in the Customer Success Unit, you help customers across Europe North strengthen trust in their data by designing and implementing secure cloud solutions. You work at the forefront of data security in an artificial intelligence-driven world, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to solve complex security challenges and unlock safe cloud adoption at scale.

In this role, you lead security adoption motions across seven subsidiaries, providing deep technical cybersecurity expertise on Microsoft cloud data security capabilities. You guide customers through the design and implementation of secure architectures, help them modernize and protect critical data estates, and ensure that security and compliance are embedded in every stage of their cloud journey. You drive reusable best practices and patterns that improve the scalable security posture of the Europe North area and serve as a role model for other security-focused architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate, identify, and translate complex customer or partner data security challenges into industry solutions that align with Microsoft cloud platform strategy, helping customers accelerate secure adoption and usage of Microsoft security and data protection capabilities.
• Guide and mentor virtual teams and technical communities across the Customer Success Unit by role modeling technical readiness in security, resilience, and artificial intelligence-aligned scenarios, and leading upskilling activities that raise overall capability in data security architecture.
• Proactively act as the voice of the customer, aggregating feedback and patterns across customers and industries, and presenting business cases and insights that influence product roadmaps, security features, and prioritization of fixes to improve customer outcomes.
• Orchestrate and collaborate across Microsoft and customer teams to deliver secure, resilient, and cost‑optimized architectures, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and business risks to ensure successful deployment and long‑term adoption of data security solutions.
• Lead strategic partner and customer opportunities in the data security space, leveraging market insights and industry trends to shape security offerings, drive consumption and usage growth, and position Microsoft solutions as trusted, innovative security platforms across Europe North.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field OR 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field OR 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND strong experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
• strong experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• strong experience leading technical projects.
• Technical and business level Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications, CISSP, CISM).

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Belgium is € 93,000.00 - € 181,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 750,000.00 - kr 1,421,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
