Senior Cloud Engineer

Anyfin is building the next generation of consumer finance. We're profitable, scaling quickly and now operating with a banking license which opens up a lot of technical complexity.

We're looking for a senior cloud engineer who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership and building systems that actually have an impact.

What you'll do

• Designing, deploying and operating cloud infrastructure and services on GCP to support scalable and reliable systems.
• Building, optimizing and scaling backend systems with a cloud-first mindset, using Node.js and SQL (Postgres).
• Contributing to system architecture to ensure cloud scalability, reliability and maintainability of financial systems.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape both product direction and business strategy.
• Sharing cloud and infrastructure expertise with the team while promoting best practices.

Our main stack is TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native running on Google Cloud Platform.

• Have solid experience building backend systems with cloud-first practices and working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Care about craftsmanship, performance and reliability in the systems you build.

• Like being in an ambitious and collaborative team.
• Want to build, not just maintain.

You're comfortable with things like:

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and backend development with Node.js and SQL databases (preferably Postgres).
• Experience in designing, deploying and monitoring solutions on major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in high-stakes environments like finance.
• Passionate about solving complex backend and cloud problems with clean, pragmatic solutions.
• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.
• Bonus if you've worked with React, Python, Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, or DevOps with Github Actions.

• Stockholm based.
• EU work authorization required
