KPMG's Sustainability Advisory Sweden consisting of a wide group of skills and expertise, and of mixed seniority. In our Sustainability Advisory team, you'll find plenty of opportunity to collaborate in an inclusive environment, where everyone is encouraged to bring unique and diverse perspectives into the work that we do for our clients. We work side by side in a well-composed team, combining sustainability expertise with traditional consulting skills. In our engagements and day-to-day interactions, we meet colleagues from KPMG's Management Consulting team, Risk Consulting & Compliance team, and Assurance team, as we try to mix and match competences and utilize each other's skills as relevant. We make an impact for our clients in a broad range of topics including regulatory and reporting, climate change, biodiversity, circular economy and human rights. With sustainability increasingly being raised as a key strategic topic for our clients, a role in the sustainability team offers numerous opportunities for your personal and professional development.

Sustainability is considered a high focus growth area for KPMG Sweden and KPMG Global, which means that we have global and regional hubs dedicated to developing relevant thought leadership, content and global experts available for our engagements. Our global network allows us to benefit from cross-border expertise and in the coming two years we will start working even closer to our Nordic member firms. Your role
As our Climate Lead you'll be part of a global organization and work within various industries and areas. Due to the high growth of projects related to the climate agenda, we see a need for a senior person who can bring in the experience and expertise needed to lead these engagements in-house as KPMG's senior Climate Lead. You will be part of interesting projects with our clients, working shoulder-to-shoulder with top-tier consultants.

With your relevant deep subject matter skills, you will be engaged as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our engagements and is expected to drive deep trust in KPMG's ability to support this agenda. It is also of importance that you can drive bigger engagements and develop people in your roles as project lead and capability lead.

You will:

• Drive increased sales within the climate consulting area, perhaps via your well-recognized name within this space.
• Provide relevant guidance to clients based on your well-established experience with climate consulting.
• Lead client engagements and client proposals and act as expert in various other projects
• Deepen KPMG's internal capabilities relating to climate area and develop more junior colleagues in climate subject matter.

As a senior member of Sustainability Advisory, we expect that you will engage both in external and internal matters and will be present at our office a few days per week. While we appreciate the opportunity for KPMG's employees to work from home, we want to meet in person on a regular basis to secure a good team ambience, feedback and growth culture, and social connection between our team members.

To be successful in this role, you have/are;

• At least 5 years experience with work within the climate area, e.g. transition plans, climate risk assessments/climate scenario analysis, GHG accounting, LCA analysis
• Extensive experience as Consultant (project management, leadership) is required and/or extensive experience in the business sector.
• Fluent in English. Multilingual proficiency and Swedish proficiency are meritorious.
• MSc Sustainability / Engineering /Business /Economics or similar

As a person you are self-driven and an active learner who wants to stay on top as an SME/lead for the climate area. You have good communication skills, which make you good at driving sales, develop more junior colleagues, and connect to existing clients.
