We're looking for a Sales Support and Business Development Specialist who is ready to turn technical and commercial expertise into smart, scalable growth solutions for our Counterbalanced division.
In this role, you won't just be answering inquiries - you'll be a driving force behind our global market expansion. By acting as the bridge between our front-line units (FLUs), dealer networks, and internal product lines, you will provide the critical commercial and technical support needed to win deals. It's a front-row seat to our commercial evolution, giving you the platform to lead product trainings, host high-impact customer events at our Innovation Center, and shape the strategic growth plans that move our business forward.

This role is based in Ljungby, Sweden, offering a flexible hybrid or remote working model alongside occasional international travel.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Front-Line & Dealer Support: Serve as the primary, go-to commercial and technical point of contact for designated front-line units and dealers to accelerate sales velocity and hit budget KPIs.
- Product Launch & Training: Partner closely with the product line team to introduce new equipment, features, and upgrades to the market, as well as plan and host dynamic product trainings, demo tours, and customer events.
- Business Development & Strategy: Active contributor to regional growth plans, business development projects, and pricing strategies to optimize market positioning.
- Innovation Center Hosting: Plan and host international customer visits within our Innovation Center, building trust and demonstrating deep product value to key stakeholders.
- Market Insights & Feedback: Conduct at least two market area or customer visits per year to gather intelligence, feedback pipeline realities to internal stakeholders, and continuously align strategies with real-world customer needs.

- Academic Foundation: A University degree or equivalent qualification within a Technical, Financial, or Sales/Marketing discipline.
- Professional Background: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Development Coordinator, or at least 3 years in a similar technical/commercial support role outside of Kalmar. Specific experience in heavy mobile or counterbalanced equipment is highly preferred.
- Commercial & Financial Literacy: A strong understanding of the business drivers that impact both Kalmar and our customers - including pricing structures, profit margins, ROI, and pipeline management.
- Digital & CRM Proficiency: Experience with modern CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) to manage sales pipelines, track activities, and analyze forecasting data is considered a distinct advantage.
- Result-Driven Resilience: High emotional intelligence, integrity, and organizational skills. You thrive in high-stakes environments, comfortably balancing administration with persuasive, high-impact communication to inspire dealer networks.
- Willingness to Travel: Ready to travel internationally to support market visits, product launches, and regional commercial activities.
