Beskrivning

Are you a data-driven credit risk professional who wants to work at the centre of the Bank's credit loss management? We are looking for a Risk Officer to join the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) team within Credit Risk, with a primary focus on analysing expected credit losses under IFRS 9 and developing technical reporting and analytical solutions

Since SEB was founded in 1856, our focus on customers and long-term relationships has been at the heart of our success. We aim to drive positive change by providing capital to help everyone reach their goals and accelerate progress towards a sustainable tomorrow. As a leading financial services group in northern Europe, we'll help you grow and empower you to take on more responsibility to create a real difference. Welcome to SEB.

In this role, you will help shape how the Bank analyses, reports, and communicates expected credit losses. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, Group Finance, and the CRO function, and contribute to a high-impact area with collaboration across key functions

About the role
As a Risk Officer in the IFRS 9 team, you will be responsible for analysing and communicating the Bank's expected credit losses under IFRS 9, while also contributing to the development of reporting and analytical tools. You will work in a collaborative environment with broad exposure to key stakeholders and an opportunity to influence both reporting and framework development.

Main responsibilities include:
• Preparing and presenting monthly reports to divisional management
• Supporting the preparation of quarterly reporting material for relevant stakeholders
• Contributing to analytical efforts to assess and estimate appropriate model overlays at portfolio level
• Building and developing Tableau reports and dashboards to strengthen IFRS 9 ECL analysis and reporting
• Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of the ECL models and frameworks

To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• Several years of relevant experience in credit risk, risk reporting, or IFRS 9 / expected credit loss modelling within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of credit risk and the ability to translate analysis into clear conclusions and recommendations
• A proactive, structured, and delivery-focused way of working
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly in both writing and presentations
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Tableau (SAS/SQL skills are a plus)

What we offer
• A collaborative, inclusive, and welcoming culture
• A role at the centre of the Bank's IFRS 9 credit loss management, with broad stakeholder exposure and visible impact
• Collaboration with stakeholders across risk, finance, and the business
• Attractive compensation and benefits

Do you want to be part of SEB?

It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.

Since we select candidates continuously, feel free to send in your application today via the link in this ad, but no later than 2026-08-31 . If you have questions about the position, please contact Daniel Odelfalk, Head of ECL & Stress-testing, [email protected] , but we will not process applications via email.

Please be aware that our final candidates undergo background checks, a process that includes for example identity control, verification of qualifications, credit checks, company engagements and criminal records checks. In some cases, we also apply random drug checks.

SEB Sweden has a redeployment responsibility, why this position might be covered by internal redeployment.
