For a hospital in the north of Norway, we are looking for a radiologist to fill a permanent senior position. The area offers an unbeatable mix of city life and nature experiences with majestic mountains, deep fjords, midnight sun and northern lights.
Responsibilities:
Description and countersigning of examinations within all modalities regarding x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI
Follow-up and guidance of resident doctors
Participation in interdisciplinary meetings for clinicians and internal training and case discussions
Conduct and interpret a wide range of examinations across different modalities, involving various disease conditions (pathologies)
Opportunity to work with and develop areas where you have a special interest
Qualifications:
European authorization as a medical professional
European certification as a radiologist
You need to be able to communicate in one of the Scandinavian languages before you start, if you do not already know any of these, a language course will be offered - free of charge
Good communication skills
You must have a professional interest, commitment and desire to contribute to the strong professional environment
A clean criminal record must be documented through a police certificate in accordance with the Health Personnel Act
