ABB is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our team in Västerås. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the deployment of our quality strategy, ensuring that we exceed customer expectations and maintain the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities

• Support and ensure the correct level of quality according to customer requirements within projects, fostering a culture of quality excellence
• Work on quality systems and tools to enhance our ability to meet and exceed customer requirements in projects
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the correct level of quality for components
• Maintain and monitor the quality standards in our production processes
• Standardize, automate and improve internal processes

Your background

• 2-5 years of experience working effectively with suppliers
• Proven track record of working in the manufacturing business
• Knowledge of the rail business is an advantage
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English
• Results-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and process development skills
