The Way They Build

Agentic coding with Claude Code and Cursor is not a weekend experiment here, it is the core of how they ship software. The code is explicitly structured to optimize AI development, producing clear, modular architecture that both humans and AI agents can safely navigate and evolve.

Your Mission & Impact

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will step in at a crucial early stage to transition from traditional, handwritten test automation to the forefront of AI agentic workflows. The job is to design, experiment with, and implement fully automated testing flows driven by AI agents. Instead of spending your days writing and maintaining test scripts yourself, you will design the frameworks and flows where AI agents generate and execute Unit, Integration, and EndtoEnd (E2E) tests.

What you will actually spend your days doing:

Agentic QA Workflows: Build and set up automated test pipelines for both frontend and backend where AI agents write and run the tests.

AI Instruction & Orchestration: Guide AI agents in generating test scripts using modern tools like Playwright or Selenium, while taking ownership of the automation architecture and applying your engineering judgment to ensure high-quality outcomes

Quality & Verification: Act as a gatekeeper by reviewing, validating, and refining AI generated test suites before they reach production.

Environment Optimization: Structure the testing environments to ensure AI agents can navigate, understand, and work within them as effectively as possible.

Who You Are

You are a QA professional who thrives in the dynamic environment of an early stage startup, bringing the autonomy and technical ownership needed to build things from the ground up.

What you bring to the table:

Automation Expertise: Solid experience in test automation using modern tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar.

Fullstack Understanding: A strong, practical comprehension of both backend and frontend development concepts.

The AI Drive: A genuine curiosity to transition from traditional test automation to an AI agentic workflow, utilizing tools like Claude Code and Cursor daily. (Note: If you have extensive automation experience but haven't worked agentically yet, the passion to learn is what matters most).

Work Authorization: Full eligibility to work in Sweden.
