Job Description Location: Skövde, 100% onsite.

The assignment

As a Product & Process Engineer you will lead the implementation of new products and product changes in manufacturing by ensuring manufacturability of components and seamless product changes. Take global ownership of process methods throughout the component lifecycle to drive process-driven product development, emphasizing efficient and quality-assured solutions

As a Product & Process Engineer you will:

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure process-driven product development with an emphasis on efficient and high-quality process solutions

• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, ME, and Sales to design robust, manufacturable products (DFA/DFM) tailored to plant processes using virtual methods

• Conduct risk analyses (FMEA) to assess product feasibility and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements

• Provide quality-related support to running production operations by identifying and resolving product- and process-related issues

• Oversee product and process changes through structured change management processes to secure consistency and operational stability

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production methods and manufacturing processes

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

• B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent experience

• 4-8 years of experience working in engineering environments with exposure to manufacturing and product development

• Experience working with risk management tools such as FMEA

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional contexts
